Fix WITHOUT reboot:

 

chown -R _coreaudiod:admin /Library/Preferences/Audio

# Fix the dynamic linkers using the following command

sudo update_dyld_shared_cache -force

# Restart the coreaudio service

sudo killall coreaudiod
